Artifact of the Week – G. Robertson, Mille Roches Mill, produce sack.

bird 006George Robertson operated a saw, grist and carding mill in the Lost Village of Mille Roches from circa 1852 to 1858.  In 1869 Theodore Robertson took over.

This hand sewn sack was donated to the Cornwall Community Museum in 1956 by Miss Lottie Robertston.  It is now on display in the entrance foyer of the museum.
