What is it?

O’kay, yo know it is a fork.  It s a Birk’s sterling silver fork to be more precise.  What was it used for?

This 13 cm long sardine fork was donated to the Cornwall  Community Museum by Ellis and Carolyn Barclay of Cornwall.
