Artifact of the Week. Winter fun in Cornwall. Platform skates, circa 1870

A pair of wooden platform skates, circa 1870.  These skates were designed to be attached to the wearer’s footwear.  This pair belonged to J.G. Snetsinger of Moulinette, Ontario, the grand-father of the donor Miss Mary Mack.
