February 1910.

17 – A. began to draw out manure from his barn turned stormy only got out two loads.

23 – Peter McGillis came after his good clothes to go to Emely Grants wake at McGillis place.

24 – A. went to Emely Grants funeral.

25 – A. went to Summerstown to sell pig to T. Jack..  D. McGills & his aunt Mrs. C. Grant was here this evening.

26 – T. Jack bought one pig from Alex for ten dollars and one from McDougall’s for seven dollars.  Mrs. Colborne Grant bought 16 pounds of geese feathers for 50 cents a pound.  made place for pigs in east stable and Alex took ferry down to his place.

27 – raining and a big thaw.

28 – George Derucihe moved to Casgrains farm.
