A crowd waiting to visit the United Counties Museum in the Wood House, 1993.

I just checked the files and discovered that we have not had a MUSEUM OPEN HOUSE since the 1990s.  To correct this oversight, Society Director Ron Begg is inviting you to visit the Cornwall Community Museum in the Wood House, on Saturday November 21st, 1 pm to 3 pm, to enjoy some cider and talk about plans for the 150th anniversary of Canada.  Come and help us make history.scan0025

Part of the throng of people that visited the Museum in our last open house in 1993!

Along with planning for Canada’s 150th Birthday in 2015 we are hoping to entice you to join!  $20 single; $25 family.

The Museum will feature an exhibit of the SD & G Highlanders during World War II.
