A 1984 aerial photograph depicting K-Mart in the middle centre.  Opened around 1980, the store was a casualty of the merger between Zellers and K-Marts operated by Hudson’s Bay Company.  It closed in the summer of 1998 putting 60 people out of work.  The building has had many uses, the most prominent being as a call centre.
