Postcards Cornwall’s first Hotel Dieu.

The building on the right, known as Ivy (IV) Hall was the former home of Ontario Premier John Sandfield Macdonald.  It became the home for Cornwall’s first hotel Dieu.

Postcard of the Hotel Dieu looking west along the banks of the Cornwall Canal.  Ivy Hall was destroyed by fire and replaced with the east wing.
