Artifact of the Week. Cornwall Old Boys’ Re-union, tug of war medallion.


Wm. Munroe’s sterling silver medallion for the Old Timers Tug of War contest, 1906.

The back is engraved:  Souvenir Cornwall  –  Old Timers  –  Tug of War Contest.
The medallion measures 4.1 cm x 2.8 cm.  It was acquired by the Cornwall Community Museum in a 2008 auction.




The medallion and programme are par to the collection of the Cornwall Community Museum.




  1. I have a old boys reunion metal pin, it has a beaver at the top and says Cornwall ONT. and it reads will ye no come back again. Dated 1847-1926. Do you want this for free. In case you want it.
