Artifact of the Week. Match scratch board, Burton Bros., Osnabruck Centre.

Plywood match scratch board for Burton Bros., Osnabruck Centre, circa. 1906.

The bowls held the matches.  The scratch pad is missing.

The wording reads:

You will have to scratch  to find a match Burton Bros. The Leading Merchants, Osnabruck Centre, Ontario.

Acquired by the museum at a country auction in 2004.
