Artifact of the Week. Homemade porridge stick.

scan0104Glengarry County is proud of its Scottish heritage and food, as evidenced by this handmade wooden porridge stick (30 cm x 3.3 cm) testifies.

It was donated to the Museum in 1958 by Miss Ellen McCrimmon of Lancaster, Glengarry County.
