Howard Smith/Domtar Souvenirs

The former Howard Smith / Domtar Cornwall operation knew the merit of providing its employees with souvenir keepsakes at times of important safety, production and long-service milestones. This a small sampling of the artifacts which are part of a special paper mill exhibit about to officially launch at the Cornwall Community Museum. The drinking glass is a 1964 Howard Smith safety milestone commemorative. The mugs, key chain, money clip and watch commemorate a variety of milestones during the Domtar period as do the wooden pen, 10 year pen, pocket knife and combination key chain/emergency whistle/coin holder.
