Julius Resnick Purse

This ‘Hobo’ style purse sags in the middle like a full satchel. The white leather purse has one brass-like buckle and two zippers at the top. While it is not stamped or labelled it was made at Julius Resnick in Cornwall; and was recently donated by the former firm’s production manager, Roger Gagne and used by his wife Liette. The pieces of the purse were cut into shape and stitched together at the Saunder’s Drive plant; that operation began in 1963.

Originally the firm produced vinyl purses but switched to some leather production in the 1980s.
