Artifact of the Week. Electric Fondue Pot – made by Cornwall Appliances.

scan0026

Remember fondue parties?

This fondue pot was made by Cornwall Appliances in the former Courtauld’s site between 1973 – 1980.  Model number:  5234.

This pot was donated by Ransom Ledoux.

While the Cornwall Community Museum is always on the look-out for items made in 19th century Cornwall, Cornwall remained a factory town into the 2000’s and the museum is collecting anything fabricated here, in good condition.
