Artifact of the Week. Painting – Lock 17, Cornwall Canal.

Oil painting by H. Brault of Lock 17 on the old Cornwall Canal, painted June 17, 1959.  Acquired the by the Museum in 2003.

The archives at the Cornwall Community Museum contains dozens of photographs and postcards showing the old Cornwall Canal, available for viewing and copying at a modest cost.
