Artifact of the Week. Architectural Rendering of Courtaulds’ Administration Building, 1938.

This photograph does not do justice to this pencil architectural rending of Courtaulds’ Administration building done by H.P. Illsely in 1938 of Archibald & Illsely Consulting Architects.

Size:  73 cm x 58.5 cm.

This is another artifact saved from the garbage by Ransom Ledoux!

The Cornwall Community Museum will be displaying artifacts, photographs and documents from Courtaulds (Canada) Ltd., Cornwall, marking the 25th anniversary of its closure from October to the end of November 2017.
