Cornwall Community Museum – bookroom.

UNFORGOTTEN MARY MACK CORNWALL’S FIRST LADY, written by Ginette Guy and published this fall by the SD & G Historical Society is available only at the Cornwall Community Museum, for $15.  The Museum is open daily from 11 am to 4 pm, Wed. to Sunday.

Here is a story of lost and found.

This summer Quarry Press, publishers of THE LIVING RIVER, went out of business, and copies of the book were sent to a warehouse in British Columbia.  At first it seemed that it would not be possible to obtain any more copies, even though over 500 had been sold.  The last one was sold at the museum in October.

Through a stroke of luck we able to find the warehouse and order more, and the Museum now has a stock of this popular book that describes river life, Stanley Island, the Seaway, river boats, the Lost Villages and much more.

Copies are only available for $30 at the Museum.

Be sure to get your book before they are lost forever!

If you are interested in local history be sure to visit the Museum’s local history bookroom, to find that rare out of print book!
