Demolition of Courtaulds Canada, March 1996.  All that remains today is the front office administration building occupied by the “Standard-Freeholder.”

March 1996.  Some idea of the size and construction of the factory can be gleaned by the fact that the floors of the building could hold several large motorized cranes at a time.

The Museum is holding a special exhibit marking the 25th anniversary of the closing of the plant throughout the month of Nov and to the middle of Dec., 2017.

Once the exhibit is over, visitors may view our extensive archives covering the history of the business in Cornwall.
